Loving this Blog
Recently, I started to enjoy cooking. I have always loved the thought of making a delicious meal but never really got inspired. For a while we were eating the same things in routine.
Finally, I got on the Internet and found a blog with Gina's Skinny Recipes. Wow! These recipes are fantastic. Both my husband and I love them, which is always a good thing.
Here are a few that I have tried.

DIY Utility Sink Skirt
I decided to make a no sew utility sink skirt this week. I love that we have a sink next to our washer and dryer, but the space looked a little dull. Sooo.... I went to JoAnn's to pick up some materials to begin one of my first DIY projects.
I used a yard of fabric, scissors, measuring tape, and heat-activated adhesive velcro tape.
Ironed everything in place and now my very own Utility Sink Skirt.

Tshirts for Tornados - Town of Pike Road
Recently, Alabamians were affected by the horrible storm last week. In effort to help, the Town of Pike Road is collecting Tee Shirts for Tornado Victims. They will be distributing them to the areas in need throughout the state. I just dropped off a few this morning. Please continue to pray for those affected by this devastating storm.

Japanese media reported at least 1,000 people are presumed dead from Friday's massive 8.9 earthquake, most drowned by the wall of water that swept across the northeast coast of the island nation. The Salvation Army in Japan is responding to the earthquake and tsunami that brought devastation to the north of the country. Joshua Smith from ( Hydro74 ) has designed a shirt to help raise funding and awareness for those affected by the disaster. The Japanese Kanji on the shirt translates to "Save World Army"
100% of the proceeds of the sales of this shirt will go toward The Salvation Army's relief efforts in Japan
